Common Household Uses

Environmentally Responsible, Kushley is a multi-purpose, water-based, odor neutralizing organic formula made from a blend of fair trade - natural plant oil extracts, eliminating airborne, static & embedded odors safely, organically, effectively, and responsibly.

Once the concentrate is diluted properly, you can use Kushley in a number of ways.

Pocket Mister and 4oz Spray already diluted and ready to use as is. The 4oz mist spray can be refilled from diluted concentrates.

Concentrate Must Be Diluted Before Use

  • Step 1

    Fill the 32oz or 1 Gallon container half way with water

  • Step 2

    Add the entire bottle of premeasured Kushley concentrate refill to your container

  • Step 3

    Rinse the empty concentrate bottle by filling it with water and pouring into container

  • Step 4

    Slowly add water to base of neck, securely tighten cap

Household Cleaning

Air Conditioner

Spray into intake, to broadcast throughout.

Cooking/Food Odors

Spray Kushley into the air to freshen the room or spray on hands, to eliminate garlic, onion and fish odors, etc.

Don’t forget about using your Diffuser in the kitchen too

Drains

Pour 2-4oz down drain before going to bed, let sit overnight & run water as usual in the morning

Diffuser

  1. Pour Kushley into reservoir to fill line as indicated
  2. Run for 1/2 to 2 hours
  3. Turn off or move to another location for best results with permeated odors.

Let your nose guide you if another hour run is necessary.

For smoking or cooking odors, turn unit on prior to start of activity and shut off approximately 30 minutes to an hour to stop odor from permeating throughout home.

Note the size and output of the diffuser unit itself will make a difference in time needed to eradicate odor.

To clean the diffuser, fill reservoir with water only & leave the unit on until it automatically shuts off

Floor Wash/Mopping

Add 2/4oz to 1 gallon mop water, especially effective in bathroom around toilet bowl basin

Furnace

Spray filters to broadcast throughout

Musty Basement

Lightly spray walls and floor, let fully dry and repeat as needed.

Pet & Skunk Odors

Litter Box

Empty litter box, spray inside thoroughly with Kushley, let dry, add clean litter. Spray over top as needed in between cleanings.

Pet Accidents

  1. Pour Kushley on carpet or upholstery over affected areas.
  2. Let sit for no more than 2 to 3 minutes
  3. Soak up with wet/dry vac or dry cloth & let dry

If treating cat urine, use a stronger mix concentration of Kushley and at least 2 applications, possibly 3.

Tip: a blacklight will always show exactly where a pet accident is located

Skunk

  1. Thoroughly wet animal's coat with water.
  2. Use a cotton ball to dab Kushley around the face area
  3. Pour kushley slowly, over the entire coat (avoid getting into face, especially eyes)
  4. Massage thoroughly throughout the coat
  5. Rinse & repeat, if necessary.

Be sure to follow up with a Pet Shampoo to thoroughly condition your pet's coat & skin's natural oils.

Fabrics & Upholstery

Laundry

Add 2-4oz of Kushley to wash or rinse cycle. Especially effective in front loading washing machines.

Sporting Equipment

Spray thoroughly, inside & out and let dry. Repeat after each use & as necessary.

Sneakers

Spray thoroughly inside & out and let dry. If washable add 2-4oz of Kushley to wash & rinse cycle for best results.

Repeat after each use & as needed.

Medical Waste

Spray medical waste, bandages thoroughly before properly discarding.

Ostomy Equipment

  1. Before releasing appliance cap, aim & spray kushley toward ceiling, it will capture odor as it rises.
  2. Drop a cotton ball saturated in Kushley into the pouch to reduce odor inside & upon releasing cap.
  3. Spray appliance thoroughly inside & out before disposing.

Smoke

Diffuser

For best results, start diffuser approximately 30 minutes before you begin smoking to stop odor from permeating throughout home.

Glass pipe cleaner

For best results use a glass container (cup/bowl/jar) large enough to submerge your favorite glass piece.

  1. Fill container with Kushley.
  2. Let sit overnight (longer may be needed depending on resin thickness).
  3. Rinse in warm water
  4. Finally, a short (15/30 minute) soak in a warm bath of baking soda & water.

Smoke Odor on Skin

Spray into air and let mist fall like a body spray/perfume on you. For best results, also use the Kushley lotion on your hands and exposed skin.

Repeat as needed.

Smoke Odor in Hair

Smoke Odors on Clothes

On the go, spray into air and let mist fall on you like a body spray/perfume.

For a deeper clean, add 2-4oz of Kushley to wash or rinse cycle.

With the engine on and AC running, spray Kushley directly into the “air in-take” and let it circulate throughout

Seats & Surfaces

Spray Kushley on seats, dash, headliner, carpet, ashtray and don’t forget the trunk.

The above directions are a starting point for dilutions as everyone’s sensitivity level for odors is different. Adjust your mixture to your satisfaction.
